To Scale Up, Coach Up……. Power in a Coach

Wow…. The best of the best and one of the world’s most wealthiest man (Bill Gates) with about 75 Billion dollars under his belt, has a coach / an advisor in his financial matters (Larsdon)…. Tony Robbins, the worlds most sort after coach has a coach. who gets paid (very well might I say) for advice…. some understand the true value of what it takes to pay for the right advise.

So what’s stopping our up and coming budding… employee, analyst, managers, VP, to grasp this idea and work diligently towards a balanced wealthy life with the help of a coach? Their lack of understand of what the coach can do and does for the individual. Just as in sport a coach helps fine tune the athlete in his / her performance, similarly in life or any matters of life a coach helps fine tune that aspect of it for the individual. In some countries this concept of coaching for life performance is still at its infancy. Many who pluck up enough courage to ask, feel its normal and ok to do so, without considering to pay of that service.

Basically it is proprietary right, knowledge / experience and applicability of that wisdom that gets that coach to provide the prudent advise. the more mature markets of the west have had this concept of seeking advise / support from  a coach and paying for it…. In some of the less mature market of self development, and despite the fact that they heard of the term they do not engage a coach for guiding them through specific matters of life be it personal or professional. Instead they approach their friend, their neighbor etc…. That’s good, but many lack the foresight to understand, in most cases that friend or neighbor is earning just as much as the individual seeking the advise. The question then is how can someone earning the same level of income, or, have the same experience help that individual to earn (50 or 100) % more – that individual will not have that process mentally such that they could provide the right guidance.

With a Coach, their Return on Investment would be far greater than asking a peer, similar level friend, a person with similar exposure? simple question to ask of oneself…. would you approach a GP doctor to perform a cardiac surgery, or would you approach a cardiologist, similarly would we ask a person earning Rs 30K to provide advice on how to earn Rs 1L. The answer goes without saying… a resounding No. Then why is it when it comes to Life matters (Career movement, Financial Growth, Recreational & Social Growth, Spiritually growth) do we fall back and accept the unacceptable. Many would remark, It’s only Life!….. When we treat Life that way, Life knows no better but to return that back to us…. the way we treat that LIFE. (the true understanding of the Law of Attraction)

This is primary caused due to lack of awareness, lack of exposure, lack of understand … what the power of a coach can do… It’s a MINDSET Shift … It does take some time for this switch to happen mentally. To understand, it is ok to ask for advice and ok to appropriately reimburse for it, and not be hurdled by upbringing or culturally norms…. that if one asks. what would other think of me…

The culture of Coaching and paying for it in some developing countries is still in its infancy…. When this is understood, the exponential, holistic growth that transpires is priceless. World Look out then.
